About the event

Alberta is emerging as one of North America’s most exciting markets for data centre development, combining access to abundant energy, available land, an established energy and infrastructure ecosystem, and growing investment in AI and digital infrastructure.

The Data Centre Energy Summit – Alberta will bring together data centre operators and developers, energy companies, investors, policymakers, technology providers and infrastructure partners to explore the opportunities and challenges associated with delivering the next generation of data centres across the province.

Bringing together expertise from Alberta, across Canada and international markets, the Summit will examine how the province can capitalise on its energy advantages, accelerate investment and develop the power and infrastructure required to support large-scale data centre and AI growth.

The event will provide a focused forum for market engagement, knowledge sharing and new partnerships between the organisations developing data centres and the energy, technology and infrastructure ecosystem required to deliver them.
